Women’s Spring Book Studies

This spring, in conjunction with the Diocese of Jefferson City Women’s Ministry, we are offering two book studies for moms.

For those moms of younger children, in the thick of all things, motherhood, trying to find a way to balance it all, Catholic Mom Calm, is a study that will give you hands on methods to decrease the every day chaos coming from the perspective of other Catholic moms. In a world where many are leading you to “self help” books, telling you that you can do it all by yourself, this study will lead you on a path where GOD is there to help you every step of the way! You are not meant to do it alone, you are meant to walk WITH God!

For moms whose children are grown and out of the house, who are no longer able to guide their children in the path of God, who may find their children have lost the path to God, this study follows the life and reflections of St. Monica, mother of St. Augustine. This book will help you focus your prayer and offer practical advice for supporting your children even when they may not be active in their faith.

Both of these books are great for a group study! Reach out to Julie Gramlich, director of Faith Formation to reserve your copy of this book and to join a group (free of charge) to deepen your understanding of God and prayer in our everyday lives while getting to know other women who are in the same seasons of life as you.

You can also purchase these books on Amazon or other websites to do as an individual study.
